⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⭐BOOK BIRTHDAY!⭐ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⭐BOOK BIRTHDAY!⭐

💗I don’t know if books celebrate birthdays, but I wanted to acknowledge that The Longest Goodbye has been out for a whole year! I might even have a cupcake later to mark the occasion!

💗Thank you to everyone who has bought my book, read my book, shared my book and picked up a copy to give to someone in your life on the caregiver journey. I believe there is still more to come for my story, and my heart is for people to know they are not alone. That they can look for hope and joy - even on the hardest of days.

💗The most touching times I had this past year, were with strangers who came to me at events, and told me their stories. Often sharing tears together, acknowledging the deep pain that we experienced. I learned, even as I processed my own loss, that there is strength when you walk with others.

🎂My book birthday wish is that you keep sharing with those you know who need encouragement. My journey was Alzheimers, but people all around us are walking paths of all kinds, saying long goodbyes each and every day. Friends and family, trying to get through all the hard days.

Waiting to be seen, loved and supported.

We can do that.
We need to do that.

There are always gifts to be found.

💗There is always hope in our longest goodbyes.
