Smell of thawing air

I really hate that it has been 2 weeks since I last blogged on here! That’s no way to build a platform. Michael Hyatt would be so ashamed of me. It’s been crazy in my world. I had a huge event at work, and it consumed my whole life. But we built a princess kingdom, so I can’t complain about that.  Mix in a few unexpected opportunities and life was pretty insane. And I loved every minute of it! Now I can breathe again, but it takes me a few days to replenish my creative energy. A few cozy naps, and I’ll be good to go!

It’s less than four weeks until spring. That means a few things. I can open my windows and spring clean. I can get my running shoes out and hit the pavement, and I will be inspired by the start of a new season. I can’t wait. While I do love a good Canadian snowstorm (I heard one is coming tomorrow!), I also need some colour in my landscape to get me inspired. The whites and grey’s of winter are slowly freezing my mind. I need the green of spring and the smell of the thawing air.  I have stories to tell, books to finish and plans to make.

In the meantime, I’ll keep plugging away. Word by word. Door by door. Each week bringing new adventures leading into new seasons!
